Tricia L. Myers focuses her practice in the areas of Wills, Trusts, Estates, and Probate Law; Tax Law; Small Business Law; and Family and Child law. She assists in Criminal Defense cases and is admitted to practice in the Indiana Courts and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
Tricia earned her Juris Doctorate from Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Ball State University. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Association.
During law school, Tricia interned at the Indiana Board of Tax Review. Tricia began her legal career at Deloitte Tax, LLP, a “Big Four” accounting firm, where she assisted clients with issues related to tax compliance, form preparation, audits, and other matters involving the Internal Revenue Service and the Indiana Department of Revenue. Tricia later joined the Department of Defense at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), where she handled accounting issues related to the disbursement of the government’s multi-billion-dollar defense budget.
Tricia counsels new and established business clients on issues ranging from formation, business transactions, contracts, disputes, and tax issues.
Tricia advises individual clients in creating an estate plan that will achieve their financial goals, including wills, probate, trusts, gifts, advanced health care directives, and tax planning.
Tricia also counsels and advises individual clients through a variety of family related issues, including divorce, child custody, child support, juvenile law, and child in need of services (CHINS) issues.
Tricia and Aaron live in Greenfield with their two daughters, Sarah and Ellie.
